Cathodic protection

Cathodic Protection is a technique that is used to safeguard metal structures from corrosion when exposed in an electrolytic environment, such as soils, sea water, chemicals etc.

By circulating direct current between an electrode, called the anode, and the surface of the structure to be protected, called the cathode, it slows down the corrosion process of the metal structure.

Sa.Gest Ltd. is APCE member and has in its staff qualified personnel of first, second and third level in cathodic protection, according to UNI EN 15257. Ensuring the best practices of our technicians are the certifications acquired over the years: ISO 14001:2004 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 9001:2008.

In addition, Sa.Gest manufactures in its own laboratories cathodic protection earth electrodes in carbon steel bars with a diameter of 60/70 mm and customizable length.
