Stand-alone photovoltaic system for instrumentation buildings

In the context of the company’s interventions in the Oil & Gas sector, the engineering department has developed a solution to be able to electrically power buildings containing control instrumentation for methane pipelines located in areas not reached by electrical service. A standard has been realized by means of amorphous siliconfilm photovoltaic modules that integrate seamlessly with the roof of the buildings, also preventing possible inconvenience due to theft. Such application reconciles energy efficiency and low environmental impact by using clean energy.
