In the field of engineering of theelectro instrumental automation Sa.Gest designed on behalf of Snam Rete Gas the specifications for the realization of the new DCS switchboards (Distributed Control System) serving the Ravenna Node and Melizzano Node plants. The task of the designers, starting from a plant philosophy of the customer, was to define the operating logic, measurements, signaling, controls and I/O terminal blocks to the field. The activities ended with factory acceptance test (FAT) at the factory and site acceptance test (SAT) at the customer’s site.
